About Ada

Established in 2024 by Chef Adam Loo, Ada brings a fresh culinary perspective to Charlottetown, PEI.

Enjoy pop-up dinners and events in our signature dining space where you can watch our culinary team at work as they create every moment of your experience. (Seated capacity is 32 people; Standup capacity is 50 people)

Visit our Grab and Go Monday to Friday for a range of sandwiches, salads, snacks and convenient meals to go.

Savour unique flavours and one-of-a-kind dishes as our culinary team commits to innovation, creativity and exploration in every menu item.

Our Team

Our team features professionals at different stages of their careers, each with their own story to tell. Everyone at Ada contributes to research & development, menu curation and the preparation of each dish. This special combination of talents, backgrounds and skills is what turns our vision of unforgettable dining experiences into reality.

Our Purveyors

Ada would not exist if chef/owner Adam Loo hadn’t grown up in a family of farmers. His father Raymond was a pioneer and visionary in organic farming here in Prince Edward Island and instilled a deep appreciation for the people working in food production every step of the way.

We carry on that legacy by supporting and working with local purveyors who are committed to producing high-quality products through sustainable methods. To us they aren’t simply a food supplier, they are an essential part of our team.

Signature Event Series

“Born and raised in Prince Edward Island, I have always appreciated the stories of our ingredients and people behind them. To share these stories is a gift and something I take a lot of pride in.

In great detail, our team will guide you through the stories of the people behind the ingredients in each dish. Beyond that, each of these dishes have been carefully selected as they have a unique back-story that goes beyond the ingredients.

Whether it be from chefs to suppliers, guests to our chefs, or guests to each other; food is about connection. At Ada, we want to connect with you, our guests, and hope you connect with each other as we share stories and introduce new dishes and flavours to you right here in the heart of our beautiful island.
