Golf PEI Unveils Ambitious Strategic Plan to Elevate Island’s Golf Economy

Non-profit charts course for growth with 20 action items, reinforcing commitment to PEI’s golf industry.

Charlottetown, PE (January 15, 2024) – Golf PEI, a leading non-profit golf marketing association, recently launched its new strategic plan, The Way Forward 2024 – 2028.

Crafted over several months with the help of Cronk Group, a trusted advisor in the global golf industry, and with extensive input from key stakeholders and members, the strategic plan outlines a dynamic roadmap to fortify golf’s impact on the Island’s economy.

“This plan represents a pivotal moment for Golf PEI and our thriving golf community,” said Sam MacPhail, Executive Director of Golf PEI. “The Way Forward sets the stage for enhancements that will not only benefit our golf courses but also contribute significantly to the economic landscape of Prince Edward Island.”

The plan unveils a comprehensive blueprint for the organization’s next five years. Rooted in four key pillars – governance, operations, marketing, and revenue generation – the strategic plan aims to sustain and elevate PEI as a golf destination, enhancing both the on-course experiences and the broader tourism industry for years to come.

This collaborative effort, guided by expertise from within and beyond our borders, ensures that PEI remains a must-visit for the travelling golfer.
