Golf PEI inks partnership with Canadian golf apparel brand Stony Wilds
Charlottetown, PE (May 23, 2023) – Golf Prince Edward Island has recently announced a unique partnership with Stony Wilds, a Canadian golf apparel brand originating in Northern Ontario. This partnership will see Golf PEI and Stony Wilds directly marketing Prince Edward Island golf courses to cruise ship passengers through the Seaport Vendor Market, a division of Port Charlottetown.
“This unique opportunity will allow Golf PEI to market its golf and vacation offerings to over 212,000 passengers and crew docking at Port Charlottetown throughout the summer,” said Sam MacPhail, executive director of Golf PEI. “Partnering with Stony Wilds allows both of our brands to work together to expand into new markets.”
Stony Wilds has been slowly growing its Atlantic Canadian market presence, and this partnership is another step in expanding in the region and beyond. Patrons of the Seaport Vendor Market can also enter to win a $1000 Golf PEI x Stony Wilds prize package, including 30 pounds of fresh PEI lobster.
“Partnering with a strong brand like Golf PEI allows us to grow our footprint while also marketing each other’s products directly to cruise passengers,” said Dan Terrill, founder of Stony Wilds. “This is an exciting opportunity to capture a new market and have some fun while doing it.”
Visit the Golf PEI & Stony Wilds vendor booth at Seaport starting May 31, 2023.
